Mon Cherie Shawl

I designed this shawl for my girl Cherie using SWTC Pure, which is so soft and drapes beautifully. I made the shawl long and narrow, so that it not only looks great when worn around your shoulders, but still covers your back when pulled up around your head. The double arch stitch that dominates the pattern ensures the shawl has texture and depth while allowing the airiness of the stitch to shine through. I considered adding tassels or fringe for about a week before deciding to leave it alone; I love how the geometric ends of each row fall when the shawl is worn. The pattern is for sale on Ravelry.
